I just discovered this site as I was looking on-line for a resource that I could use to become competent in writing, and speaking the English language. I am a US citizen, and can communicate effectively, but lack an understanding of proper sentence structure, punctuation, verbiage, etc... As near as I can assess things, I believe my skill level would be around the 6th grade, when it comes to a command of the English language. I am looking for an on-line course that can help me become skilled as a writer and orator.

Any direction would be appreciated.
