I think:

1. Something that we hear is a sound.

2. When we shout, we make a high sound.

Dawood: In my opinion lo2 has it spot on, however when we shout we make loud sounds, not high sounds.

1. And how about when we whisper? Do we make low sounds or soft sounds when we whisper?
2. Why are you using plural form 'sounds'?

As in the other Thread Dawood, sound and sounds at times can be interchangeable; I used 'sounds' because that was one of the options you originally gave in your examples. For whispering: we make 'soft sounds', or 'make a soft sound'.

Thank you very much for your help.
Now I can write both "a sound" and "sounds" with no difference in meaning. Am I right?
Here are my sentences:
1. When we shout, we make a loud sound.
2. When we whisper, we make a soft sound.
I hope I've made no mistake this time. Have I?
Regards!
Dawood
