Can we say" showing or displaying increasing importance"?
Hello Everyone,
In my interetation textbook, there is a sentence: ... Today, the traditional Chinese health preservation methods, such as taiji boxing , static qigong breathing and therapeutic massage , are gaining inceasing importance...
I would like to know whether gain in the paragraph can be replaced by display or show as according to the original Chinese , the meaning should be display or show importance! I don't know if such collotation exists in English?
Can we say" showing or displaying increasing importance"?
