Can anybody give me any feedback about the following sentence in terms of voca and grammar?

Stress leads to mental problems,such as depression , temper . People also get easily irritated and melancholy when stress builds up.

Also, stress leads to physical problems. For example, stress causes unbalanced diet, leading to malnutrition because people lose their appetite.

Vocabulary is fine; grammar is basically fine. I am suggesting some alterations to make the sentences smoother.
