    Question Where to use "Thanks a lot" "Thanks a bunch" phrases

    Hi,
    Can anyone please tell me where it is appropriate to use "Thanks a lot", "Thanks a bunch" and "Thanks a million" phrases?

    When communicating informally with friends. Not generally good to use in a formal business letter/e-mail.
