over due vacation

Dear Sir,

This is to request my annual vacation from July 21st to August 8th 2008 which has been due since 2005. I now have a total of 42 days vacation leave which I have not received since I started working here in October of 2004.

According to the Labour Laws of St. Lucia I am entitled to fourteen (14) days vacation after a year of working. I do hope that you understand.

Your early consideration of my request would be appreciated.

There are 2 issues in your letter:

1) You have requested 14 days this year, which is in your contract.

2) You also have accumulated (or added up) 42 days vacation from past years which were never taken. Do you want these days, also?
