Can any one explain the phrase "Hook That Up For Me". I did search a lot but coudn't find it

It's slang for make that possible, make arrangement for, or make the connection.


"I'll hook you up with a new car,"said the salesman.

"Can you hook me up with that nice looking girl?"

"Jan hooked us up with a good travel agent."

I suppose this could have the simple literal meaning of "attach this to that".

"Hook the trailer up for me", meaning hook the car to the trailer.

More context would help. Can you provide any extra context, Shahfaisal?
