Default Sentence Check: Adjective or Adverb and Modification

Consider the following sentence: 1. I travel frequent enough.

Now, if "frequent" functions as an adjective in the first sentence, modifying another adjective, "enough", is the sentence grammatically correct - or is "enough" functioning as an adverb; thus, "frequent[ly] should be used to modify "enough" in its adverbial form since adjectives should not modify adverbs.

So, the question is, would you consider "I travel frequent enough" to be grammatically correct?

Thanks
