Can anybody give me some coments on the following sentences?

1.I didn't have confidence to start studying again to apply to another university after I failed the university entrace exam.

2.It looked so difficult to get admission from xx university.

3. the cross cuntry travel was my turning point. THat is, through this experience ,, I decided to apply to your school.

4. Also, my self-confidence became storng after I successfully finished cross country travel.

5. After the travel, I prepared to apply to your school
