I believe gonghai's explanation for JFYR (i.e., Just For Your Reference) is correct. It's another way of saying, "by the way" or "Did you know?"
Please note that,
luck does not take -s.
I also like gonghai's explanation about dropping money.

In addition, and more food for thought for you, there's a saying in English,
Money is trouble. That is, if you have money, then owning it will only cause you grief in the end because it will most definitely begin to own you. Loosing it or giving it away (i.e., ransom) is good; it reduces the bad luck.
