Default Books about business letters

Hello,

I'm going to take the exam for foreign language secretaries in June. I have attended a vocational college for 1,5 years. We used these books Communication for Business.
One of our teachers told us that there are many mistakes in these books and the other teacher who taught us letter writing and correspondence by means of these books wasn't that familiar with modern and correct business English (she was very nice, but that doesn't help to learn good English).

While talking to native speakers, I realised that the books contain lots of mistakes indeed.

Needless to say that I don't want to fail the exam.

So I would be grateful if anyone knows a book that would help me to prepare and learn.

Thank you.

These give a number of reasonably current titles:

Amazon.com: Advanced Search - English letter writing: Books

Amazon.com: English business communication: Books

I can't recommend a specific title, but any should be good enough.

There is also this:
Amazon.com: German/English Business Correspondence (Languages for Business): Paul Hartley: Books

Snowcake,

Check out Dixie's Guide to Business Correspondence. It's not a book, but it has some useful information about business letters and other types of business correspondence.

Good luck with your exam

Thank you very much!

The book by Paul Hartley seems to be very good since it's written for English native speakers. I suppose this book provides a reliable source of information.

I've already taken a look at the website, which is also useful.

Now I feel a bit more confident of passing the exam. I really appreciate your help.
