.. there are only 30 positions to use the laptop and as you know this is not enought. I hope you can increase the number of computer positions, so that more students can use thier laptops in the library.

.. there are only 30 positions available to use laptops and as you know, this is not enough. I hope you can increase the number of computer positions, so that more students can use thier laptops in the library.

I believe this is what you mean. Even though it slightly changes the meaning of the first sentence, judging by the context, I think this is what you meant to say.
