She gave up; she copped out.
Pronunciation
Past tense: "copped" [kapt]
Present tense: "cop" [kap]
EX: You said you would go to the movie with us, but now you're not going to go? Don't cop out on us. You should come. :D
Try,
Can someone explain the meaning to me?
All the best, :D

Re: What does it mean?
Thanks for your correct and help. But I have one question on this again.
You wrote that the Past tense and the Present tense are the same writing.
I have copied this sentence from a grammer exercise in the internet.

It is the last sentence.
Is "copped" eventually Amerikan-English? Or is there a misspelling?
Thanks in advance
Dany
