    Hello everyone...
    Could anyone guide me whether this sentence for the idiom is right or wrong...

    "A cock and a bull story"

    The accident was not too serious but the media was projecting it as a cock and a bull story.

    It is not appropriate in the sentence you give.

    The account he gave me of how the accident happened was just a cock and bull story.

    A cock and bull story is a lie someone tells that is completely unbelievable.
