What does " kick-off-your-shoes" mean? very excited? Is it slang?
It usually means "relaxed" - you feel so comfortable you can kick off your shoes and go barefoot. I think in this context you can interpret it as you suggest - that the action is lively and exciting, and you are all partying so hard that your shoes fly off your feet.
