| Had I not missed the plane, I would have made a huge sale at the tomorrow's trade show. Or should it be: Had I not missed the plane, I would make a huge sale at the tomorrow's trade show. |

| I'm not a teacher, but as I use and understand my native language, option number 1 is the only acceptable choice here. " Had I not missed the plane, I would have made a huge sale at the tomorrow's trade show." |

| Thanks. My inclination is also to use “would have”. However, I read somewhere that “would have” should not be used in describing the future. Also, considering the sentence “Had I not missed my plane, I would be home by tomorrow morning”, which I assume, perhaps mistakenly, to be correct, why don’t we use “would have” here?
