dictionary of very formal and very british english?
hi,
i am truly amused by listening to expressions like "i am utterly devoted" (answer to the question to prince charles how he stands towards his mother) or "with utmost pleasure we are delighted to...", well you get the idea:
i am looking for a list/ link/ book/ dictionary that teaches more about the british english at its formal and conservative best.
any help, anybody?

I honestly don't know of one. There are guides like Fowler, but that's just conservative about language. I'm afraid that few want to learn the Queen's English.
