Default specification

Hi,

could you please tell me whether it is possible to say "specification of the purchaser"? The text that follows says that the purchaser is a legal entity which offers and sells ......, is based in ..... etc.

Thanks a lot!

Hanka

Without fuller context, yes, you can say this.

The product is to be designed to the specification of the purchaser

Actually, these are not the specifications of the product required by the purchaser, but a profile of the purchaser.

I am not at all sure I would use it in that context. If this is a sentence in a contract, then I would use:

"...the purchaser, who is [deemed to be] a legal entity which offers and sells ......, is based in ....."

It is a heading of an article in the contract. Maybe I could say "details of the purchaser"

That seems a good solution.
