Default That's the last straw.

Dear teachers,

Would you eb kind enough to tell me whether the followin four idioms are interchangabel in your area?

1. That's outrageous.

2. That takes the biscuit.

3. The straw that breaks the camel's back.

4. That's the last straw.

In my natural language they sound very similarly.

Thank you in advance for your efforts.

Regards.

V.

The first two are interchangeable; the second two are the same saying, one being truncated.

Well, I just learned that "That takes the cake" is "That takes the biscuit" in the UK.
