Dear language experts,
I wrote the following sentence, but I'm not very happy with all the "the"s in it. Are there too many of them?
On the night of the event, the chairman of the board, the school principal, the seniors, the teachers and the students, again, welcomed Mr. Lin heartily. |

Angelika not sure, they were Finefeeling's words. I was just concerned adjusting the 'the's' didn't really notice that!

Mr. Lin had visited the school the year before the activity I am writing about, so I inserted "again," though. |
