Dear teachers:
Which of the following do you find natural?
(1) Can you give me a call when you get back?
(2) Can you give me a call when you have gotten back?
(3) Can you give me a call when you got back?
How about (4)-(7) under the following situation?
Situation: The addressee is going to a convention next week and is going to take pictures there. The speaker wants to see those pictures after the addressee has gotten back from the convention the week after.
(4) Can you show me the pictures you will take at the convention (when you get back)?
(5) Can you show me the pictures you will have taken at the convention (when you get back)?
(6) Can you show me the pictures you took at the convention (when you get back)?
(7) Can you show me the picture you have taken at the convention (when you get back)?
Thank you in advance for your help.
1 is natural to me. I'm a British speaker, so 2 sounds strange. 3 is incorrect. For the second group, only 4 makes sense to me to fit the facts.![]()

How about the following? I moved things around and made a few midifications. Do you have the same judgments?

(4') When you get back, will you show me the pictures you will take at the convention?
(5') When you get back, will you show me the pictures you will have taken at the convention ?
(6') When you get back, will you show me the pictures you took at the convention?
(7') When you get back, will you show me the pictures you have taken at the convention ?

4&6 work best for me, though I'd probably use 'take'.![]()

I'm still puzzled regarding (4'), becasuse I was once told it sounds like a non-native speaker's English. If I remember correctly, the person who told me so was Canadian.
Could there be a regional difference?
