Default Re: Suffixes -ic and -ical?

    Hi Alexander Derezhenko,

Words which end in -ic are stressed on the syllable immediaately before the ending, the second-to-last sillable. Words ending in -ical or simply in -al are stressed on the third-to-last syllable.

    lethargic genetic
    political abdominal
    anemic cranial
    critical visual
    strategic spesific
    medical clinical

    Regards.
