Default Grammatical Problems...

1)the magazine isn't worth reading.
2)it's no good trying to convince her.
3)it's no use worrying about the exam now.
4)he had no difficulty getting a place on the course.
5)It will be difficult having conceded two goals.
6)it must be terrible having to decide whether to play anelka and drogba, two up front or one up front.
7)Chong Wei had hoped to skip the tournament claiming he was mentally tired after competing in the Thomas Cup qualifiers in Vietnam, the All-England and the Swiss Open.

why reading, trying, worrying, getting, claiming and having are applied in these sentence?why don't we use original word?could someone explain to me?
very thanks

I'm not a teacher, but here "to have to" means "be obliged to", "be compelled to", "must. So, "I am dreadfully sorry that I must inform you ..." or "I am dreadfully sorry that it is my duty (obligation) to inform you ..."

3)it's no use to worry about the exam now.
4)he had no difficulty to get a place on the course.
