    Default Is it grammatically correct to say: "I'm sorry that ... "

    Hi everyone,

    I have just been asked the following question and I'm not sure how to answer it:


    "I am sorry that I couldn't come to the party."
    Is it grammatically correct to put 'that...' phrase immediately after an adjective ?



    Does anyone have any ideas?
