Default I don't understand this sentence.

Hi teachers! I have a difficulty in understanding the sentence highlighted.

I think the scale of it is something which people might find surprising, just how much alcohol is being consumed by young people, how many of them are binge drinking pressing that into one or two small sessions where they are drinking a lot of those times, and the violence and other problems associated with it.

I especially don't know the meaning of "pressing that into one or two small sessions
    "
Would you mind rephrasing this sentence? Thanks~~

The highlighted sentence has been poorly translated. In this context, pressing means squeezing. The idea is that binge drinkers drink a lot in a short period of time. They 'squeeze' their drinking into a short period of time.
