Default ambiguous sentence?
She does everything for her mother.

Can't this sentence have two meanings?
1-She does whatever she does for her: she goes to school for her, gets good grades to make her happy, chooses her friend in such a way as to please her....
2-She does everything there is to be done for her mother: takes care of her, washes her clothes, cooks for her...

First meaning would usually call for inversion:
Everything she does is for her mother.
