Difference between "be going to" and "present continuous + future word"
Hi there!
I would like to know any differences between the use of "be going to" and "present continuous + a future word".
Example:
1. I am going to play tennis tomorrow.
2. I am playing tennis tomorrow.
Thanks!

The first conveys a sense of a plan. The other states an arrangement that has already been planned.
