    Default it is a/ the custom

    It is the custom in that country for women to marry young.

    This sentence comes from Oxford. I'd like to know if we can also say 'It is a custom in that country for women to marry young'?

    Could I ask native English speakers to help me please? Thank you in advance.

    you'd rather say
    It's customary for women in that country to marry young.
