Dear teacher,
What does the phrase "In the making" mean as in the following sentence from CNN:
Instructor:>You can see the red part of the ball constantly facing the catcher. That means you're getting closer to a gyroball.
James Macdonald, CNN Correspondent:>Joining the ranks of pitchers dreaming of becoming a Matsuzaka in the making.

in the making here simply means dreaming to become a star athlete just like Matsuzaka in the future
