Default "my task is achieved"

hi,
i have heard (I think!) it on a TV show and I wonder if it's really possible, please. if so, I'd like to know if it means the same as "my task is accomplished" and if I can use it informally.
thanks

Default Re: "my task is achieved"

Well, it doesn't sound very natural to me.
I've achieved my goal, or my goal is achieved.
My task is completed/accomplished or I've accomplished/completed my task.

But sometimes people change their minds mid-way through what they plan to say, so weird things come out.

Default Re: "my task is achieved"

Usually, it is "my goal is achieved" and "my task is completed" since a task is a specific amount of work to be done. It either gets done or not.

A goal is something that you try to achieve. (with great effort)
