| Hi RB. Add my comments: Do you think it's going to rain over the weekend? = Do you think that it's going to rain over the weekend ? The question can be separated into two parts. I. Do you think? ---> main clause. II. that it's going to rain over the weekend.-->subordinate clause. The main focus of the question is 'do you think' , therefore the answer should be 1. YES, I THINK SO. 2. NO, I DON'T THINK SO. Thanks for the reply. |
