Default take/make a decision

Hi,

Could you, please, tell me the difference between make a decision and take a decision? Which expression should I use in the following sentences:

The Authority shall make/take a decision to reject the Bidder in the event when....

The Bidder has the right to make/take a decision on prolongation of the Offers submission period prior to its deadline.

Default Re: take/make a decision

"To make a decision" = To decide between two or more choices, to come to a decision.

"To take a decision" is more like the act of deciding.

I would use the following:

The Authority shall make a decision to reject the Bidder in the event when....

The Bidder has the right to take a decision on prolongation of the Offers submission period prior to its deadline.
