Default Job qualifications

Hello Everyone,

In China personnel in a certain field who has gained certain amounts of experience and have achieve a level of qualifications are awarded with certain tiltles, which is named as "zhicheng" in Chinese. For example, teachers, in Junior High School, can be classified into third level teacher, second level teacher ,first level teacher and advanced level teacher and super advanced level teacher.

I would like to know here what "zhicheng" can be translated into in standarded English?

Regards

SKy

Default Re: Job qualifications

This is a very Chinese concept, coming from its own ancient culture. There is no similar structure in Western culture.
