Default ''to what extent'' vs ''how far''

hi,

"To what extent/how far do you agree with the sentence above?"
"How far/to what extent are you willing to go to protect the environment?"

please, which sentence sounds more correct? are these expressions interchangeable? is there any other expression with a similiar meaning, please?
thanks.

To what extent do you agree with the sentence above?
How far are you willing to go to protect the environment?
Guess these two expressions are pretty similar in meaning, the problem may be only with the compatibility with other words
Anyway, let's wait for a native speaker's opinion
