May I know the reason why "in order for us to" is wrong?
Secondly, I really don't know what "by which to" is? Is this a structure?
    Looking forward to the answer...

Sentence one indicates to me that the Prophet Muhammad has foretold some signs so he can recognize the approach of the day of judgment. (Sentence three is similar.) Instead, try:
The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) has foretold some signs in order for us to recognize the approach of the day of Judgment.

    or:

The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) has foretold some signs by which to recognize the approach of the day of Judgment.
In the second sentence, "by which to recognize the approach of the day of Judgment" describes the signs.
