Smile writing a letter

Dear teacher,

When writing a letter , the subject of the letter could appear at the beginning of the letter as "Re:__________". Should it be in bold letters? if it should be in bold, sould it be like this:
"Re: writing a letter" or "Re: writing a letter".
I appriciate it if you send me a sample official letter . (In the site ther are rules for writing a letter but no referrence to the above issue.

Thank you,
Tami Belizowski

Default Re: writing a letter

Welcome to the forums.

This is a matter of personal preference. If you want to bold it, then do so; if you want to underline, then do so. There is no hard and fast rule in the matter.
