thanks for your coming

Is it OK to say, "thanks for your coming"?

I just heard people say, "thanks or thank you for coming".

Would it wrong if you say, "thank or thank you for your coming"?

You do not need the possessive pronoun in this phrase:

Thank you for coming is the normal greeting.
