any one knows what is the idiom for the phrase "to be someone's key helper" and "to be anxious to hear what someone has to say"

"to be someone's key helper"


One choice is: "To be someone's right-hand man."

"to be anxious to hear what someone has to say"

"To be all ears" is one way of saying it.
