"I persuaded Tomas to go to see Michael"
means:
"I persuaded Tomas (after talking to him and getting him to agree, that he should) go see Michael", , sometime in the future

persuade Hi teachers!
If I say, "I persuaded Tomas to go to see Michael", what exactly does that mean? My guesses are...
1. Tomas agreed to go to see Michael, but it's not clear if he already saw him or has not yet.
2. Tomas agreed to go to see Michael and already saw him.
Which would be correct?
