I know it may be "hip slang", BUT....!!
Any other pet peeves out there that bring to mind small-armed intentions?

I teach in China, and my pet peeve is when my students use this phrase, in my opinion... What about, here's what I think, or this is how I see it, and so on?  |

But I use it myself. It's a way of saying, I could be wrong, but this is what I think. It is also a polite way of disagreeing with somebody.
