hi,
I am still in doubt, please.
"my car is broken and I will be riding by bus the entire next week".
is this sentence ok?
thanks.
My car is broken and I will be travelling by bus next week
OR
My car has broken down so I will be catching the bus next week
OR
My car has broken down and I will be taking the bus next week
Not really. It would sound odd.
Hi,
I found this on the web and it conveys the exact idea I am looking for:
"Unless you're averse to air travel - or have some specific reason for wanting to move about by bus, that would be a very long (and insane) ride."
This is not good British English, correct?
Thanks.
In that context it is fine.
It does not work in the sense of travelling to work by bus.
