please, what is the correct verb to employ when you use the bus as a transportation mean?
"my car is broken. I am traveling by bus."

Yours is as good as the following:
I am going by bus.
I am riding on the bus.

Re: traveling by bus
hi,
I am still in doubt, please.
"my car is broken and I will be riding by bus the entire next week".
is this sentence ok?
thanks.

thanks Anglika.
I found "move about" and I wonder if it's good and natural English, please.
"People who can't afford having a car move about by bus.".
"Don't wait for me if I don't arrive in time. I don't have a car and I move about by bus.".
thanks.

Not really. It would sound odd.

Hi,
I found this on the web and it conveys the exact idea I am looking for:
"Unless you're averse to air travel - or have some specific reason for wanting to move about by bus, that would be a very long (and insane) ride."
This is not good British English, correct?
Thanks.

Re: traveling by bus
In that context it is fine.
It does not work in the sense of travelling to work by bus.
