have lived /lived
Hello!
Are the following sentences interchangeable?:
-I've lived in Italy for 5 years (I've got the experience of having lived there)
-I lived in Italy for 5 years
Thanks!

Hi,
If you use Present Perfect (sent.1) you include the moment of speaking, i.d. you still live in Italy.
As for sent.2 you refer to it as a past action, like you used to live in Italy some time in the past but now you don't.
All the best,
Maria
