    Default Please help

If the production is smooth to start on May 16-22, then we can catch the vessel closing on May 23, ETD May 27 and request the forwarder to date back the departure date to May 25 to fulfilled the latest shipment date.

I am not sure I quite understand.

The closing date for the shipment to be booked on the vessel is May 23.
The vessel's ETD is May 27.
Why does the forwarder have to back-date the paperwork to May 25?

    Hi Anglika,

Why does the forwarder have to back-date the paperwork to May 25?
This is because to fulfill the latest shipment date shown on the letter of credit.

    Thank you for your help

    Regards
    Zoe
