magazine store?
Please, dear teachers, could you proofread and answer this question?
What names do you give to that places on the streets where people buy newspapes and magazines? I mean, where do you buy magazines before going to work?
Thank you

Re: magazine store?
If you buy from a person selling newspapers on the street he/she is a news vendor.
If you buy from a shop then the shop is a newsagent

Re: magazine store?
If the vendor is in a small open-fronted hut or cubicle, from which he sells his newspapers, magazine, refreshments, then it is a kiosk

That's the word I was looking for, kiosk, Brazilians call kiosk a small cubicle where people take money from their bank accounts, ie, an ATM, and the place where people buy newspapers is called "banca de revista", which in English, using a word-for word translation, it means "magazine table", a table where the vendor puts magazines, newspapers etc for sale.
Thank you very much
