Default salary increase

Dear Teachers,
if i want to ask my employer to increase my salary, is it possible to say : i'd like to ask you for increasing my salary.
or : could i get a pay raise ?
which sentence is more frequently used ?

thanks for answering !

In the UK: pay rise,
in the USA: pay raise.
How about this:
I'd appreciate a review of my responsibilities/role and salary/remuneration.
I'm very positive about my job and the organization, and would like to discuss how to increase my contribution, and the reward I receive.

banderas has supplied some good alternatives, but didn't point out that 'ask you for verb+ing' is not an acceptable collocation in general; 'ask you to increase' would be grammatical (but would probably be regarded as excessively direct in this case!) In a report of the conversation though - to people who already know you deserve a rise - you could say 'I asked him to increase my salary'. And in a different context 'asked him to increase' would be perfectly acceptable - example: They asked him to increase the pressure in the inlet pipe.
