(decrease) The price of tomatoes fell (down-omit).(decrease) - but this sounds like it would be referring to large quantities and the wholesale price. The price of tomatoes sank underground.(decrease). NO NO NO 'Up and down' will vary depending on what you are referring to eg Stocks plummeted/slumped on Wall Street today. |
