I have a little question. I improve my English at Euroschool now. We have learned the comparatives and superlatives. Our teacher said, that we have to use "the" by superlatives.
Now my question. In our practice book stand follow sentence.

It was also the hottest, driest, and most modern city.

Why I don't have to use [/b]the[b] most modern city?
