I'm afraid the only phrase that comes to mind is
The Little Translator’s chest swelled with pride.
but this doesn't take into account the amount you wanted to stress,namely just a little.
I think one would have to add this extra piece of information to the next sentence. Quite full of himself,..
maybe.
