1, 4, 7, and 10 are ungrammatical.

Note, the same things, your seat-belt, prostitutes.

Thanks.

1. Some students are working as a prostitute to make money. (Why is this incorrect? Can you tell me what does it mean so I can understand why it is incorrect. Thanks.)

What do these mean?
2.
We like to do the same thing.(One thing?)
3. We like to do the same things. (More then one thing? Why do I need to use 'the'?)

4. Please have your seat belt on at all time. (Why does it need to be 'times'? How do you know?)

5. There is a strip of carrots in here. (Why is this wrong? This doesn't mean 'there is a strip of carrots in here?')

1. Some students are working as a prostitute to make money.
Question: How can a group of people (some students) be one (a) person? Are they all pretending to be the same prosititute? (i.e., Same name, same face, same look, etc)

2. Max and Sam like swimming. They like to do the same thing.
3. Max and Sam like swimming and cycling. They like to do the same things.
4. Please have your seat belt on at all times. (e.g., all is plural, so its object is plural)

5. There is a strip of carrots in here.
Question: How can a single strip belong to more than one carrot?

I looked up 'all' in a dictionary but it doesn't say if it is plural or not. How can I figure that out? Or which dictionary would say that?

1. I looked up 'all in a dictionary.
2. I looked up 'all in the dictionary. (I shouldn't use 'the' right? Because it is not known to you?)

1. I looked up 'all' in a dictionary. (non-specific: name not specified)
2. I looked up 'all' in the dictionary. (specific: known to you, but not to me, so your statement begs the question:

Casiopea: What dictionary, jack?

Look at the definition for all. It means, all things (i.e., it's plural)
